Volunteer
All new volunteers have to jump through a certain number of hoops in order to join the team but you will be guided along the way, by our volunteer Recruitment Coordinator.
We currently have around 171 volunteers who support different departments around the hospital. Collectively, they volunteer for around 30,000 hours in addition to which they give additional time helping and supporting various fundraising events and activities throughout the year.
A great deal of time and effort is put into ensuring that all our volunteers are trained and supported by the Friends and the NHS hospital trust, both of which work very closely together to make the volunteers experience fulfilling.. We never forget that volunteers are giving their time for no other reason but to make a difference. Why not come and join us?
