Why become a Friend?

For 90 years, the Friends has been supporting the work of The Royal Marsden, Chelsea in its treatment and care of patients and families affected by cancer. 

Subscriptions and donations from our member 'Friends' represent a very significant part of our income and enable the volunteer Friends to keep running valued services, amenities and facilities in the hospital. The money contributed also goes towards purchasing much needed hospital equipment, services and amenities for the benefit of patients, their carers and staff.

​Becoming a Friend, cements your special relationship with The Royal Marsden, Chelsea. Not only does it enable you to benefit from the close association the Friends have with the hospital but it also enables you to attend Annual General Meetings, receive regular newsletters as well as special invitations to attend the various events and fundraisers run by the Friends throughout the year.
