The Friends' Shop was fully refurbished during the pandemic and now offers a wide variety of sandwiches, healthy snacks and hot and cold drinks.
We also offer a wide range of small toiletries, ever so useful to patients and staff. As well as, greeting cards, gifts, fashion accessories and second-hand books. And, offer an exclusive range of Headwear (Beanies, Turbans and Caps) in cotton and bamboo. We also offer a wide range of Friends of The Royal Marsden, Chelsea branded items, including: cotton Tote bags, the travelling teddy bear, pens, pins, keyrings, and our ever so popular china mugs. All profits from the shop go back into the hospital to fund the purchase of equipment, services and amenities to benefit the hospital and its patients. Together with the shop trolley, over the past four years we have gone from £18,000 in 2019 to over £72,000 of net income in 2023. The Friends' shop is situated on the ground floor to the left of the Main Reception on Fulham Road. Run by a team of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers, managed by Katie Sketchley and Helen Moran. The the shop is open every day, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm and on Saturdays between 11am and 4pm. We accept cash as well as payments by card. |
