Major Grants (£3,000 and over)
Requests for big ticket items (over £3,000) should be directed to the Friends who, following consultation with the Head of Clinical Engineering and Deputy Chief nurse may ask you to present your request to the Committee of the Friends at their next meeting.
Small Grants (up to £3,000)
Under a new scheme, introduced in 2023, requests for smaller items costing up to £3,000 can be sent directly to the Friends for their consideration. All requests should be for either equipment, services or amenities for the benefit of patients, their carers or staff at the hospital.
