2020 Expenditure & commitments
£213k During the course of 2019, the Friends donated a total of £213k for equipment and services to benefit the patients, their carers and staff at the hospital. A further £47k was committed in 2019 which will bring the total spend, in due course, to £260k. EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES £148k Three scalp coolers, a multi-departmental UVC room disinfectant unit, an endoscopic evaluation system for Speech and Language Therapy, a blood sampling printer and portable bladder scanners (amongst other things). HOSPITAL AMENITIES £53k Including the refurbishment of Critical Care Visitors rooms,, upkeep of the aquariums and piano, outpatient staff room refurbishments, the Arts forum, maintencance of roof terraces and gardens adn fresh flowers. PATIENT AMENITIES £11k Including the funding and support of coffee machines in RDAC and Radiotherapy, Aromatherapy supplies, Christmas Gifts and Physical/Occupational therapy supplies |
