2018 Expenditure & commitments
£225k During the course of 2018, the Friends paid and committed to pay a total of £225k for equipment and services to benefit the patients, their carers and staff at the hospital. EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES £135k Including a video laryngoscope, mobile blood pressure monitors, a training microscope, a patient lifter, a high frequency jet ventilator, ECG machines, LED surgical headlights and a patient hoist. HOSPITAL AMENITIES £19k Including the refurbishment of roof terraces, upkeep of the aquariums and piano, patient and relative room enhancements & refurbishment, fresh flowers, the Arts forum, cafe refurbishment and soft furnishings. OTHER COMMITMENTS £71k I addition to the above the Friends committed to funding additional equipment, amenities and services in the sum of £52,300. |
Markus ward, Brachtherapy, Horder ward, Cafe, PALs bereavement room, PET/CT rooms, Anesthesiology, Outpatients, Plastic and Day surgery units, Speech & language and Radiotherapy. |
