VIRGIN LONDON MARATHON, 2016

In April 2016, Andrew Harting took part in the Virgin London Marathon to raise funds for the Friends in memory of his late mother, Anne.

He finished in just over 4 hrs which was a mighty effort especially since he spent most of the 2nd half of the race running with a pulled muscle in  his leg.  He raised a phenomenal £9,000 which was a tremendous achievement.

Our thanks go not just to Andrew but also to his friends and family who supported him through the long and often lonely months of training.
