Quiz Night 2019
The Annual Quiz night at Brompton Oratory (thank you to Father Julian for allowing us to host our event in the church hall) was another resounding success, raising both funds and morale for all involved.
Thanks to the talents of the dynamic duo of Quizmasters (the marvellous Malvin Sayle and her most eloquent husband, Nick who battled illness, bad weather and traffic to support us), the very voal gathering was kept in check until the very end of the evening.
Master Quiz-setter, Toni Pardo, took no prisoners with her testing rounds of challenging questions which left many scratching their heads and a brave few playing their jokers.
The food was, as ever, plentiful and delicious as was the wine which flowed steadily throughout the evening.
Sally and Roger Robotham kept the scores in check while Sarah Ducker did marvels with the raffle. Meanwhile, Susan Keyser and Olivia Deyong were our kitchen fairies who ensured everything was done and dusted both before and after dinner.
Thanks go to everyone who worked so hard both before, during and after the quiz itself with an extra special huge and affectionate thank you to the amazing Toni Pardo M.B.E. who hosted and organised the entire evening.
